Tioga County Man Facing Charges after Domestic Incident

Pennsylvania State Police say a Tioga County man is facing multiple charges after a domestic incident escalated and caused significant damage in Elkland on Saturday night. The Elkland Fire Department is estimating thousands of dollars in damages as a result. According to Pennsylvania State Police, the suspect, identified as 24-year-old Jordan Davis of Elkland, was allegedly intoxicated and began attacking the victim, a 28-year-old woman, inside of a residence. Authorities say Davis then began destroying parts of the residence with a chair. When leaving the scene, PSP says Davis backed his vehicle into the victim’s vehicle, pushing it into the street. Davis then rammed the car for a second time, pushing it into the bay doors of the Elkland Fire Department, damaging an unoccupied fire truck. Later, Davis was apprehended and given a breath test. He was then charged with strangulation, criminal mischief, assault, DUI, and various other charges. Davis is currently behind bars in the Tioga County Prison. Officials estimate the damage to the fire department is around $22,000. The victim’s vehicle sustained an additional $8,000 in damage. Davis left the scene once more, striking another unoccupied vehicle in the process before fleeing.
